Ezekiel: Noa and the Automaton Urbis is NC Gaming's single-player, steampunk-cyberpunk third-person shooter RPG. Noa crosses the militarized border between Humanópolis and Automaton Urbis to rescue his kidnapped daughter, Tris. NC Gaming is developing the game in Funchal, Madeira, Portugal.
PC via Steam is the lead platform. PlayStation and Xbox are planned. The release date is TBA. Ezekiel is planned as the first installment of a five-game saga spanning more than 100 years of in-game history. What is the game about?
Ezekiel follows Noa, a father who crosses the militarized border between Humanópolis and Automaton Urbis to rescue Tris. The moral AI system connects player choices to NPC relationships, faction standings, mission availability, and story outcomes.
NC Gaming names Mass Effect as an influence on moral choices, Dishonored as an influence on world design and stealth mechanics, and Arcane as a visual influence. The universe has been in creative development for over 30 years. The Great Fracture supplies the history; the Neutral Zone supplies the crossing; Noa's rescue supplies the personal route. The game is planned as the first installment of a five-game saga spanning more than 100 years of in-game history.
